acceptance

by downloading, installing, or using miniti, you agree to be bound by these terms. if you do not agree, do not use the app.

the service

miniti is a meeting assistant and speech coaching app for macOS and iOS. it records meetings with live transcription, generates AI-powered summaries, action items, and MEDDPICC analysis, and provides real-time speech coaching metrics. miniti can optionally sync with Google Calendar to display upcoming meetings and auto-start recording.

miniti is currently in beta. features may change, break, or be removed without notice. availability of the service is not guaranteed.

accounts and devices

miniti does not require you to create an account to use the free tier. your device is identified by an anonymous UUID that is not linked to your identity.

if you subscribe to Pro, your email address is collected by Polar to manage your subscription. you receive a license key that can be used to activate your subscription on multiple devices.

subscriptions and payments

free tier - 500 transcription minutes per month. all features included. no payment required.

pro - $5 per month for 5,000 transcription minutes per month. all features included. billed monthly via Polar.

bring your own keys - free and unlimited. provide your own Deepgram and OpenAI API keys. no payment to miniti required; you pay the API providers directly.

all payments are processed by Polar. miniti never sees or stores your payment details (card number, billing address, etc.).

prices are exclusive of tax. where applicable, VAT or sales tax is collected by Polar at checkout and shown before you pay.

you can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from Settings in the app or via the Polar customer portal. upon cancellation, your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. no refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

if you are in the UK or EU, you have a 14-day right to cancel your subscription under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. to cancel within this period, contact us or cancel via the Polar customer portal for a full refund.

miniti reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.

your data

all meeting content - transcripts, notes, summaries, action items, MEDDPICC analysis - is stored locally on your device. you own your content. miniti claims no rights to your data.

when you submit your email to download miniti, your contact details are stored by resend and you may receive occasional product updates such as new features and announcements. you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

acceptable use

you agree not to:

you are responsible for complying with all applicable laws when using miniti, including any laws regarding recording conversations. many jurisdictions require consent from all parties before recording. miniti does not provide legal advice on recording consent.

third-party services

miniti relies on third-party services including Deepgram (transcription), OpenAI (AI insights), Google (calendar sync), Attio (CRM integration), and Polar (payments). we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, pricing, or data handling.

your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. see the privacy policy for the full subprocessors list.

intellectual property

miniti, the miniti name, and the miniti logo are the property of Ian Ahuja. you may not copy, modify, or distribute the app or its assets without permission.

disclaimer of warranties

miniti is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. use it at your own risk.

limitation of liability

in no event shall miniti or its developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to loss of data, lost recordings, or missed meeting content.

miniti's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to miniti in the 12 months preceding the claim.

termination

miniti may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for violation of these terms, without prior notice.

you may stop using miniti at any time. if you have a Pro subscription, cancel it before deleting the app to avoid continued billing.

sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.

changes to terms

we may update these terms at any time. continued use of miniti after changes constitutes acceptance. for material changes (especially to pricing or payment terms), we will provide 30 days notice.

apple app store

if you download or use miniti via the Apple App Store or TestFlight, your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). in the event of any conflict between these terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA will take precedence for iOS users.

Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property, are the sole responsibility of miniti's developer, not Apple.

governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. any disputes arising from these terms or your use of miniti shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
