acceptance

by downloading, installing, or using miniti, you agree to be bound by these terms. if you do not agree, do not use the app.

the service

miniti is a meeting assistant and speech coaching app for macOS, iPhone, and iPad. it records meetings with live transcription, generates AI-powered summaries and questions, provides real-time coaching metrics, and offers optional Sales and Playbook specialist views. miniti can optionally sync with Google Calendar, import a Granola CSV export, send data to configured integrations, and export local meeting files.

features may change or be removed, and availability of network-dependent services is not guaranteed.

accounts and devices

miniti does not require you to create an account to use the free tier. your device is identified by an anonymous UUID that is not linked to your identity.

macOS Pro is managed by Polar and can be restored on another Mac with a Polar license key. iOS Pro is managed by Apple through the App Store and can be restored on devices signed in to the relevant Apple Account. the two subscriptions are separate and do not unlock each other.

subscriptions and payments

free tier - 500 transcription minutes per month. all features included. no payment required.

pro on macOS - $5 per month for 5,000 transcription minutes per month. billed monthly via Polar.

pro on iOS - $4.99 per month for 5,000 transcription minutes per month. billed monthly through Apple's App Store.

bring your own keys - free and unlimited. provide your own Deepgram and OpenAI API keys. no payment to miniti required; you pay the API providers directly.

macOS payments, taxes, cancellation, and eligible refunds are handled by Polar. iOS payments, taxes, cancellation, and refund requests are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services terms and applicable consumer law. miniti does not receive or store full card details from either payment rail.

cancel macOS Pro from the Polar customer portal. cancel iOS Pro from your Apple Account subscription settings. cancellation prevents renewal and access continues as shown by the relevant billing provider. refund eligibility depends on the provider, region, and applicable law.

miniti reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.

your data

meeting history - including transcripts, notes, summaries, coaching data, specialist insights, and imported CSV content - is stored locally on your device. network services process some content transiently to provide transcription, AI, and configured integrations as described in the privacy policy. you own your content. miniti claims no rights to it.

you can download miniti without submitting your email. if you join the newsletter, your contact details are stored by resend and you may receive occasional product updates such as new features and announcements. you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

acceptable use

you agree not to:

you are responsible for complying with all applicable laws when using miniti, including any laws regarding recording conversations. many jurisdictions require consent from all parties before recording. miniti does not provide legal advice on recording consent.

third-party services

miniti relies on third-party services including Deepgram (transcription), OpenAI (AI insights), Google (calendar sync), Attio and Twenty (optional CRM integrations), Polar (macOS payments), Apple (iOS distribution and payments), and any docs MCP or webhook endpoint you configure. we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, pricing, or data handling.

your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. see the privacy policy for the full subprocessors list.

intellectual property

miniti, the miniti name, and the miniti logo are the property of Ian Ahuja. you may not copy, modify, or distribute the app or its assets without permission.

disclaimer of warranties

miniti is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. use it at your own risk.

limitation of liability

in no event shall miniti or its developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to loss of data, lost recordings, or missed meeting content.

miniti's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to miniti in the 12 months preceding the claim.

termination

miniti may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for violation of these terms, without prior notice.

you may stop using miniti at any time. if you have a Pro subscription, cancel it before deleting the app to avoid continued billing.

sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.

changes to terms

we may update these terms at any time. continued use of miniti after changes constitutes acceptance. for material changes (especially to pricing or payment terms), we will provide 30 days notice.

apple app store

if you download or use miniti through Apple, your use is also subject to the Apple Media Services terms and Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. in the event of a conflict, Apple's applicable terms take precedence for the Apple-distributed app.

Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property, are the sole responsibility of miniti's developer, not Apple.

governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. any disputes arising from these terms or your use of miniti shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
