templates is an optional specialist view that fills a fixed set of named sections from the transcript as the meeting goes. pick a template for the kind of meeting you are in - a sales qualification, an interview, a stand-up - and miniti keeps its sections up to date using only what was actually said. available on macos, ios, and linux.

choosing a template

open more in the insight picker and choose templates, then pick one of the built-in templates. the more label shows the active template’s short name while it is selected. picking a template mid-meeting fills it straight away instead of waiting for the next update. before the first fill the view shows the same listening state as sales.

built-in templates

your own templates

from v2.9.0 you can add templates of your own in settings → templates on macos and ios.
  • a template is a name, a one-line summary, and up to 8 sections. each section has a title and one line telling the ai what belongs in it. there is no free-form prompt, so the notes always come back in the same shape
  • duplicate any built-in template to start from it, then edit the copy
  • preview runs the template against one of your past meetings and shows the filled sections without saving anything to that meeting
  • your templates appear under the built-ins in the templates submenu, on live and saved meetings
  • a meeting keeps a copy of the template it used, so editing or deleting a template never changes history, exports, or webhooks for meetings that already used it
  • export writes one template as a json file; import reads one back on another device. templates are stored on the device and do not sync
limits: 24 templates, 60-character names and section titles, 300-character guidance per section.

how sections are filled

  • each section holds a few short points, attributed to the person who said them where the transcript makes that clear
  • a section stays empty until the transcript contains explicit evidence for it. miniti does not infer missing facts
  • wording stays stable between updates. a point changes only when new transcript evidence supports it, and is removed only when it was contradicted or resolved
  • managed mode uses the same pinned models as the other ai insight views. byok sends the same prompt to your own openai key

live vs saved

  • live - the template fills as the transcript grows and refreshes with the update action
  • stopped - the template completes when the meeting ends and is saved with the meeting
  • saved - open templates on a meeting in history to fill or refresh it from the saved transcript. you can switch a saved meeting to a different template
if you trim a saved transcript, miniti clears generated insights for that meeting, including template sections. regenerate the template from the edited transcript.

exports and webhooks

filled sections travel with the meeting:
  • markdown export - a heading with the template name, then one bold line per filled section, in template order. see markdown export
  • ios share sheet - included when you share insights or the full meeting
  • crm sends (macos) - filled sections are added to the attio or twenty note after meddpicc, as title: value lines under the template name
  • webhooks - a template block on meeting.saved and meeting.updated:
sections lists only filled sections, in template order. the whole template block is omitted when nothing was filled. see webhooks.
