steps

  1. download the dmg from miniti.app
  2. open the dmg and drag miniti.app to your applications folder
  3. launch from applications - the app is signed and notarized

first launch

the first time you record, miniti will ask for microphone and system audio recording permission. see permissions for what to expect.

updates

from v1.24.1, miniti has an in-app auto-updater. it checks automatically, then asks before installing and relaunching. if macos says miniti was prevented from modifying apps, choose install update again. affected older updater builds can fail once before the corrected updater is installed. if the retry also fails, download and install the latest dmg manually once; future in-app updates should then work normally.
