steps

  1. download the dmg from miniti.app
  2. open the dmg and drag miniti.app to your applications folder
  3. launch from applications - the app is signed and notarized

first launch

the first time you record, miniti will ask for microphone and system audio recording permission. see permissions for what to expect.

updates

from v1.24.1, miniti has an in-app auto-updater. new versions are fetched and installed from inside the app. if an update is available, you’ll see a prompt; accept it and the app relaunches on the new version. users on an affected updater build may need to download and install the latest dmg manually once; after that, in-app updates should work normally again.
