first meeting

the recommended flow on macos:

1. start meeting (⌘⇧R)
2. talk normally while transcript and insights update live
3. stop when you want to review (⌘⇧R again)
4. wait briefly while miniti finalizes and saves the transcript
5. review, resume, discard, or return to meetings while final insights finish
6. open the saved meeting in history to edit, export, or send to attio or Twenty CRM on macos

step by step on macos

1. pick your audio sources

on the home screen, toggle:

• microphone - records your voice
• system audio - records the other side of a call

most users want both on. the selected toggles show which sources will be recorded.

2. pick a language

english is the default. choose any of the 11 supported languages before you start. transcription, insights, and filler detection all adapt. before an important call, add company jargon to the personal dictionary so product names and acronyms land correctly.

3. start recording

click start meeting or press ⌘⇧R. this always starts a fresh unscheduled meeting. connected calendar events remain separate choices in the upcoming list. you will see:

• your mic labelled you in green
• system audio labelled speaker 1, speaker 2, and so on in blue
• summary and questions updating live
• coaching metrics computed locally
• sales updates if you enabled the specialist sales view

4. stop and review

press ⌘⇧R again. miniti asks the transcription service for its final words and saves the transcript. this short finalization state is progress, not a button. after the transcript is safe, final insights continue against that saved meeting. you can:

• choose back to meetings and start another recording while insights finish
• wait and choose open in history when ready
• resume the same meeting after its final insight task has finished
• discard (⌘⌫) to remove the meeting

⌘S activates the available done or open-in-history action in the stopped view.

5. work with the saved meeting

from history you can:

• switch between insight views
• edit the title and notes
• pin the meeting
• copy or auto-export markdown
• send to attio or Twenty CRM on macos
• trim the transcript and regenerate the views you need

iphone and ipad

1. tap start meeting
2. talk normally - the live activity shows the timer and, when enabled, the latest transcript line
3. tap stop
4. wait for the final transcript save
5. return to meetings while final insights finish, or open the saved meeting when ready

ios records microphone audio only. system audio capture is a macos feature. on regular-width ipad, use the sidebar to move between record, coaching, and history. iphone keeps the compact tab bar.
